These are links to very special people and organisations I love to work with, in no particular order...
My website designed by me dedicated to my design, illustration and writing.
Tracey Alexander cares for more than 15 magnificent Friesian horses, offering carriage rides round Cartmel for tourists and wedding carriages. Their original Frieisian Experience offers riding and/or carriage driving around Cartmel and on Cumbrian beaches. Living a mile away from me, Tracey, her mother Sylvia and her sister Tamara are close friends and I am so fortunate that they grant me access all areas to photograph their beautiful horses.
The official organisation for owners, breeders and enthusiasts of Friesian horses.
Known as the dog photographer, award-winning Andy works with clients all over the world to produce stunning animal portraits and action shots. I have been on his dog photo training courses and I continue to learn so much from him.
This animal shelter near Kendal was greatly supported by Alfred Wainwright when he was alive. Today, a team of dedicated staff and volunteers go to great lengths to look after animals in their care until homes can be found for them.
The Animals’ Refuge was founded in 1909, when animal welfare pioneer Francis Cox launched The National Equine Defence League to improve the appalling plight of the 72,000 pit ponies whose lives were spent hauling heavy coal carts in the subterranean twilight of Britain’s coal mines. Today, this large refuge has all the modern facilities and caring staff to look after the many dogs, cats, horses, goats, birds and other assorted creatures needing new homes. After a visit to photograph the cats, I ended up eventually bringing home two cats, Cecil (silver tabby with a wonky neck) and Roger (black & cuddly), who are loving life in Barber Green.

Based in Kendal, my friend Mark Knowles at Pawcraft make unique gifts for dog and cat lovers, from their very own pets paw prints. Whether that be a 2D Stone Print cast, or a piece of solid silver jewellery, they are items that you'll treasure for ever. Mark’s German Shepherd, Ushba, is one of my favourite doggy models and she even has her own blog!
